HI all
Saw this a couple of days ago and told a couple of folks who are desperate for a camper. Cannot believe it's still not been snapped up. If my cash wasn't already tied up in Land Rovers, I would have bought it and rebuilt it for resale. Can offer this service to anyone who doesn't have the time or space. As long as you have the cash, I can rebuild it to your specification.
Happy New Year to all
Cheers Mick

RMS: Looks like there's an offer in from Germany (assumed from their feedback).
Now then Robin. Could be Austrian - or even .... Swiss!

Maybe it's a shrewd business move, as there are always folk who want to do overland trips to places such as Morocco, the Pyrenees or Corsica, but don't have a vehicle suitable? Could make a fortune renting them out

Well, I can now confirm it's mine
The deposit is paid and the listing has been removed.
Apparently it is complete, with all the fittings, though it's received an S3 front end in the rebuild onto the galv chassis
It's being delivered next next week, I hope - I really didn't fancy another 530 mile round towing trip and the cost of the transport isn't much more than the fuel I would have used
So, that will be 4 Carawagons on the front lawn!
Hopefully, this will be an easier build than my '58 + Carawagon body project (which I haven't started yet!), so it might take priority.
Cheers,
Robin.

Congratulations Robin! (Are you related to the Schlumpf brothers? .... !!)
Surely it IS a S3, as it was first registered on 18/05/1972? Is the 6 cyl engine with it?

Nice work Robin, although I wonder if this is becoming an obsession
