This is the last big event of the season for most of us - well worth going to

It's free to enter a vehicle and you get two weekend passes free :nana:

There was a good lineup of Series vehicles last year as well as the Carawagon encampment :gold:

This year the show is making a feature of Perkins equipment, so don't forget to advertise the fact if you've got one of their powerplants in your Series

The entry form for vehicles is HERE and the closing date is 28th September.

I can't make it this year as I'll be on my way to a much warmer place for a month :neener: but I'll be thinking of you all

Cheers,
Robin.

I'm planning on going to this one, and taking along the LRCC board and flags, if anybody wants to join me for an encampment?

It's tempting to go in my Perkins Prima powered 88, but the Carawagon is much more comfortable for sleeping in.

Hi Patrick, We will set up an encampment with you in the middle as we did last year if we are aloud to, we will have the full tent with log burner as it gets cold at night and it gives us all some were to sit if it starts raining. :tiphat:
All the best Gordon

I think Steve will be there, and Brad (RomanyRose) asked me to get him a pass, though as we all know, he might end up on the south coast if he forgets to turn off at Newark  (no offence meant, Brad :tiphat: ).

I'll be sorry to miss it as it is the last one of the year and well worth going, but sunnier climes are calling :neener:

Cheers,
Robin.

G'day chaps, thanks Robin but many a true word said in jest and as you know my annual journey to Essex is not that far away now so lets just hope my mind is not wondering of my trip that will be the 41st time for this venture  .

Although times have changed things in that area of my youth the woods with the deer are still there and now my late father is at peace it would be nice to do as i did when times were better and be at peace with nature if only for a few nights with my truck a bottle some good sounds and my best friend my dog :wine: .

Of course when i say good sounds it is not only music that is prominent in my mind but the rustle of the trees the feeling of the breeze the running of the near by stream and of course the best thing of all is the wildlife that is intrigued as to why a man has to do as i do that is so simple and get so many good feelings to help cope with what life has to throw at you these days :cactus: .

Yes i have said it before each year that i class myself a lucky man that i have my own place that i have been visiting for the above time mentioned the only thing i will miss is telling my late father of my adventure although only small compared to some it's a good one for me.

Catch you later. R-Rose :tiphat: .
